So, most people don't like Monday's I suppose. I guess it's the fact that it means they have to start their work week, or lamenting that the weekend is over. Perhaps it's because they feel like they've wasted another weekend, failing to accomplish whatever goal they may have set. Resolution if you will.
I see things a little differently. See, yesterday was Sunday. Including my various religion activities, I was "at work" (I use this term loosely because I'm lucky enough to have a job that 85% of people when asked would deny that anything I do would even be remotely considered work) for about 11 hours. That's a long time. Now today, I came in at about 10:30...I'll leave today at about 3:00. Then I go home and have no commitments at ALL until tomorrow morning. Tuesdays are fairly relaxed as well. Wednesday is the day that sucks the most, go go go almost every waking hour. Thursday is alright, but Friday, Sat, and sun bring more youth activities, more things I need to do, and less time for me to actually do them. I don't really have a constant day off, except maybe Saturday, but it really doesn't bug me. I suppose it's because much of my "time on" is also "time off", where I'm just hanging out with kids or discussing this or that topic with them. It's a good time.
So, in short, Mondays aren't bad at all for me, I like my job, and the Bears got stomped. Roflstomped even. Into the ground.
Also, I enjoy typing on this keyboard much better than on the bigger one. Something about the bigger ones - I just don't like them. My fingers are not gargantuan, my hands are not baseball mitts. I don't enjoy practicing finger stretches and my wrists like to just be chill when I type. Why would I like to feel like I'm working out while I'm typing? Why would I want to dig through my shed in the hopes of finding a large hammer with which to hit the keys? Why would I want to have to build a ladder, climb up on top, and decidedly drop bowling balls onto the proper key to ensure it registers? I can't think of any answer, other than it would be way awesome for a time. Day to day use - I'll stick with this bad boy. Now if only he wasn't 5 years old and had a working battery...
