hmm

"in 2005, three Colorado Supreme Court judges have declared Bibles as biblio non grata in United States court rooms and jury deliberation chambers. The case involved throwing out the sentence of a man who was given the death penalty after jurors consulted the Bible in reaching a verdict. The judges decided that "Jurors must deliberate in that atmosphere without the aid or distraction of extraneous texts." Merriam-Webster describes extraneous as "having no relevance." Do those three judges really believe that in deciding the fate of a man's life the Bible is irrelevant? A significant problem we face today is that many judges believe there is no higher power than themselves."

yes.
